On 31st March 2026, the Future Energy Exports Cooperative Research Centre (FEnEx CRC) hosted a workshop to explore its concept of a new National Greenhouse Gas Emissions Measurement (NGEM) Facility. The workshop encompassed experts from industry and academia across a range of industries, with a focus on oil & gas, coal and chemicals. Over an afternoon of workshop sessions, attendees discussed the core purpose and requirements for the NGEM facility to support Australian industry in their emissions measurement and reporting requirements.
