PhD Title: Novel Polymer Composite Structures for Permeability Control of Gaseous and Liquid Hydrogen
Yureshi’s research focuses on developing novel polymer composite structures for permeability control of cryo-compressed liquid hydrogen. Her work investigates advanced material systems that can improve hydrogen containment by reducing hydrogen permeation and enhancing the safety, efficiency, and reliability of hydrogen storage and transport technologies. Through this research, Yureshi aims to support the development of durable and sustainable materials for the growing hydrogen economy.
Yureshi graduated with a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Biotechnology from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), Sri Lanka. Prior to commencing her postgraduate studies, she worked as an Academic Instructor in the Department of Applied Sciences at SLIIT.
