January 6, 2026

The Future Energy Exports CRC (FEnEx CRC) is delighted to welcome Dr Christopher Greig as an independent director to our Board. Elected by the members at the recent Annual General Meeting, Chris brings a wealth of experience to FEnEx CRC having led distinguished careers as an entrepreneur, senior executive and academic over four decades. This combined perspective is the perfect skill set for the next phase of our CRC.

“As our CRC grows in national and international recognition it is timely to have Chris join us as a highly regarded and a highly credentialed non-executive director. We are truly fortunate to be able to attract such a talented individual to complement our Board” said Mary Hackett, FEnEx CRC Chair.

Chris is a chemical engineer with over 25 years of industry experience initially as a successful company founder and then senior executive of several Australian and international energy, resources, and construction companies. His industry experience spanned projects and operations across Australia, Asia, Africa, the Americas and Europe. His academic career commenced at the University of Queensland in 2012 before becoming the Theodora D. and William H. Walton III Senior Research Scientist at Princeton University’s Andlinger Center for Energy & the Environment un the United States.

He is a Fellow of the Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering; and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (with Honours), a Master of Engineering Studies, and a PhD in Chemical Engineering – all from the University of Queensland.
