PhD Title: Design, simulation and implementation of a novel bidirectional DC-DC converter for batteries utilised in green hydrogen microgrid.

Amin has completed his bachelor and master’s degrees both in Electrical Engineering. Before starting his PhD at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), he worked as an Electrical and Control Systems Engineer for more than five years in the petrochemical industry. Amin’s current research is focused on DC-DC converters, which play a key role in renewable energy systems incorporating energy storage systems. His research aims to design a new bidirectional DC-DC converter to increase the efficiency and sustainability of the green hydrogen production process.
