H2 Powder and Transport KETH Pilot (26.RP2.0294)

A pilot-scale plant capable of both producing sodium borohydride (NaBH4) on the multi-kg scale and converting it to gaseous H2 at high pressure will be constructed and used to demonstrate Curtin’s H2 Powder Technology. A conventional mechanical high pressure storage tank and dispensing system will serve as a benchmark against which the H2 Powder technology can be compared in terms of the cost and efficiency of H2 pressurisation as needed for the refuelling of H2-powered vehicles.
