PhD Title: Thermodynamics of hydrogen mixture in storage and transportation applications

Minzhen’s research aims to advance the development of thermodynamic models for hydrogen mixtures used in industrial contexts such as storage, transportation, and transformation. The project plans to utilize a combination of experimental data and real-world operational data to enhance the accuracy of predictions regarding the behaviour of hydrogen under various conditions. These improved models are expected to lead to safer and more efficient practices in handling hydrogen, supporting its adoption as a sustainable energy carrier.

Minzhen graduated with a Master’s degree in Geophysics from Curtin University and a Master’s in Data Science from UWA. She is currently pursuing her PhD at UWA, focusing on the development of advanced thermodynamic models for hydrogen mixtures in industrial applications.
