Future Energy Exports (FEnEx) CRC Stage 2 Proposal Submitted

We are pleased to announce that the FEnEx CRC Bid Stage 2 proposal has been submitted today. The bid has continued to build momentum, having secured ten new partners and one new third party since the Stage 1 submission.

These new partners bring expertise and facilities that complement those of partners listed in Stage 1. New research partners include:

· The CO2CRC has joined as a tier 1 industry member, and will conduct research projects driven by several major energy companies.

· Swinburne University and the University of Tokyo both of whom are currently collaborating with research and / or industry partners in the FEnEx CRC.

· Other new industry partners include the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA), Anergy Australia Pty Ltd, Angang Steel, Environmental Clean Technologies Limited, Hyundai Heavy Industries, Samsung Heavy Industries, and Shanxi Keteng, all of who have successful track records collaborating with partners in the CRC.

· The WA-Energy Research Alliance (WA-ERA) will provide top-up scholarships for the education and training program.

Over the next few weeks, the FEnEx interview team will be preparing for the CRC Panel Interview in Canberra on 15 November.
