Conference Dinner – 1st May
We are taking the conference dinner in a different direction this year. Melbourne is known for its food and fun. With this in mind, the conference dinner will be a refreshing change. Let your hair down, sing (optional) the night away, join us for a night of Melbourne’s best Asian cuisine dining at the Yum Sing House & karaoke taking us all back to the hedonistic spirit of 1960’s Hong Kong heyday.
Partners welcome – purchase partner dinner tickets on the same registration site.
National Foundation for Australia-China Relations/FEnEx CRC/The University of Melbourne Energy Institute Workshop
For the first time, we are partnering with The University of Melbourne Energy Institute and the National Foundation for Australia-China Relations to bring you a collaboration opportunity to strengthen research ties. This year we are hosting visitors from Tsinghua University, China University of Petroleum Beijing, Curtin University and The University of Western Australia. Supported by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, this workshop plans to advance research in hydrogen liquefaction and carbon capture utilisation and storage (CCUS).
Poster Sessions
The project poster sessions are opportunities for attendees to explore the cutting-edge research projects being undertaken within the FEnEx CRC. The poster presentations offer a chance for researchers to showcase their work and engage with fellow attendees in informal conversations. During conference breaks, delegates are invited to engage with poster authors to gain further insight into the projects being presented and how they are working to enable a decarbonised energy supply.
3 Minute Thesis Competition
Held in conjunction with the FEnEx CRC Annual Conference, the FEnEx CRC three-minute thesis (3MT) competition offers an opportunity for PhD students involved across all aspects of the FEnEx CRC to practice the effective dissemination of their research, and to communicate their ideas and results to the wider FEnEx CRC community, as well as to non-specialist audiences.
